  1. By the way: How did you create your .mp4 sources and samples?
    - PAL or NTSC? 25fps or 30fps?
    - Color matrix 601 or 709? Any conversion done at some point?
    - What was the original format and resolution? Progressive or interlaced?
    - Has it been reencoded and/or resized at some stage?
    -.....

    Edit:
Hmmm, my guessing is that these videos were taken with a mobile phone. Nominal framerate is 30 fps. So you should change the assumefps(25) in the beginning of the script by assumefps(30), or leave it away.

That were just the orriginal, unedited files from my phone.

It's fps recording is set to 30fps, so NTSC if I'm correct?

So the resolution etc is orriginal too.

  3. All right. Just a brain fart. No offense. AssumeFPS(30) would be correct then.

No problem! I don't feel offended.I appreciate all the help verry much!
Yes, the FPS shouldbe correct, because 30fps is the only setting which supports EIS on my phone

  5. The reason for my doubts were because MediaInfo reports different color primaries (BT.709, limited range versus "original" BT.601 PAL, BT. 470 System B/G, full range) for the .mp4 files
Maybe a stream versus container issue, or just how the mobile phone handles it ......

Oh, I don't know about that. It's a lot of information though haha. It were just the orriginal files copied straight from my phone.

I'm using this "AutoAdjust plugin" with saturation set to 1.1 a lot for improving the rest of my video's too now. I think it gives some nice automated results, close to the orriginal video colors. I think I've nearly corrected almost all my video's with this now.
It seems my phone camera tends to darken out spots really quickly, almost turning to black. While moving, but also blackening out the foreground. It's verry annoying actually. But luckily I can "repair" my other video's also a bit with this. I think it will be a good thing to look for a new phone with a better camera on my next trip...

This Avisynth is verry powerfull btw! I should get more familiar with it.
