A WD 150GB 10K RPM Raptor SATA drive. I had an older SSD that was faster but too small (60GB), but the Raptor is quick enough and a lot cheaper and seems less problematic. The newer SSDs are tempting, though.

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA. It is split into 2 partitions. One is for Windows 7, and the other is storage.

  9. So far switched two out of three computers to SSD. One Desktop and one laptop. Much improved boot times and loading of applications.

Best upgrade so far even better than more memory.

Call me a convert, Thanks to income tax refund.
If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.

I was using a 80gig Western Digital Sata Drive. Split with 2 partitions ... WIN XP and WIN 7

But I switch PCs ... and now it is a 160 GIG Seagate Sata Drive ... with same type of OS arrangement.
