    How do i convert a .bin file to a .avi?

    If it's a VCD or SVCD image you'll need to extract the mpeg first. Use ISOBuster for that. Once you have an mpeg you can search in the "convert" section on the left of this page for mpeg to avi guides.

    You can't. Its like asking: "How can I convert a bucket to water?" An iso is a container, an image of a file system (ISO9660) and that file system can contain anything, just like your HDD.
    That said, the contents of the bucket can be reached either using the tools suggested above, or by simply burning it to a CD or DVD.
