  1. I'm currently using Premiere Pro to capture old VHS home videos (some as old as 23 years). Unfortunately, there are several diagonal bands where the video is sort of greenish-yellow throughout tape, probably due to its age. Any color settings I adjust affect the entire frame, so I'd imagine I'd have to do that on particular sections. Does anyone know of any way to at least reduce this? Can I create a mask or something to filter only parts of each frame? If I could, it would probably take a million hours as the bands sometimes move or they're hard to see.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, though.

    I do Ulead Video Studio has an overlay function where you can create a band and lay it over the video and adjust the transparency.

  3. Thanks for the help, Tommyknocker, but I don't suppose you know any method in Premiere? I've already invested in this, and don't really want to buy another program.
