If the video card has a 100% Video Out - then "NO". Some have Video In/Out - that's why I say 100%

  3. So a card with VIDEO IN/VIDEO OUT will work?

Sorry for so many questions, I'm new at this.

Put it this way - it SHOULD! Keep asking, that's how one learns

  5. Hello,

Consider looking at the new Matrox G450-eTV. Here is the link to the product itself:
    http://www.matrox.com/mga/products/marv_g450_etv/home.cfm

It is a nice package capable of growing with the user. Having a complete editing package along with the DualHead feature is very nice.

If you have further questions about this or other Matrox products, go to the Desktop Video forums at:

  6. Thanks for the link. It seems perfect for what I'm trying to do. But $230 is alittle too much. Maybe off ebay?

they sold out of the card-alone deal for $14, but still, the card with the camera, a power supply, and an RCA cable is probably worth at least the $29. and it's a real NTSC camera, not a USB computer-only plug in. as long as it's powered and had somewhere to send the signal to, you could put it anywhere. (e.g. you could use it for CCTV-type home-monitoring applications or whatever)
