    Hi
    i wanted to try soundforge 11 under w10 64bit
but the installation stoped with a warning about Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
on my w10 64bit pro i have not even Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5

is it normal that a program like it needs Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 ?

did someone have the same issue?
    thanks

  3. When you say "I wanted to try Soundforge 11" I presume you mean you're running the trial before purchasing. While you can't demand an answer while on the trial, you can still use the online support.

yes they claim it works on w10 as long as your computer meets the minimum specs. http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/soundforgepro/techspec

    and you can install/enable dot net 2 on win10 - http://www.groovypost.com/howto/enable-net-framework-2-windows-8/

If it's a 32bit app, and they want to continue maintaining support for XP (which may be reasonable given their user base), it wouldn't make sense for them to fork and develop an additional application strictly for 7/8/10 64bit users (particularly if their feature set doesn't include anything that requires or takes major advantage of 64bit capability).

In other words, if it's not broke why fix it?
