    Hi people!

    I have a problem with the sound of one XVID movie I have downloaded. The thing is that there isn't no sound on it. I have already installed AVI codec, but what do I have do do now? Is there anyone who can help me? I woud be very thankful

  2. I have exactly the same problem dude! Infact there is sound on the video, but it is unable to be played back... a codec is needed but I don't know what one and where to get it. I'm still waiting for a reply I posted in the newbie section

    Get Gspot form the Tools section. It will test any video file and tell you the required codecs and if they are installed or not. 8)

    http://www.land.ee/d_nimo_codec.html

    it worked for me, hope it works for you too. It has many codecs in it, just install the audio ones if thats all you need, and play your video file in windows media player and it should work

    You need to get a XVid codec to hear the movie. This happened to me once until I finally installed the codec.
