I have a dvd movie '10,000 BC', it rips with RedFox AnyDVD, latest version, both as dvd folders and iso's.
DVDShrink refuses to open either way.
FixVTS crashes after about 1-2 seconds.
The 'full' rip (either way) plays for about 10 seconds, then closes.

    Ideas? Help?!

(My sister gave me a verrry old XP computer on which I installed the old SlySoft AnyDVD final version, same problem as with RedFox)

(Also FWIW, the old SlySoft with DVDShrink works as well, or better sometimes, Shrink opens more DVD's than with RedFox, dont have to rip as DVD files 1st, then use Shrink. Some newer flicks will not open. Slower, dont know if its the computer or the software)
Yes, no, maybe, I don't know, Can you repeat the question?

FixVTS is NOT a DVD copying program. It was made to fix badly authored DVDs....like some DVD recorder discs or Nero burned discs.

I realize this, though most times it is the cure, fixing badly authored DVDs.

I do not want mkv files, my (stand-alone) media players wont play them.

I've had nothing but trouble, ever, with dvd fab.
