    I have used VOB2MPG PRO succesfully on XP both interactivly and using batch command lines. Have just built a new Windows 7 Premium machine and have all the latest updates. Installed VOB2MPG. Initially had a problem with missing codecs but have resolved that by downloading the K-Lite codec pack. Can now create MPGs from HDD DVD files within the interactive window of VOB2MPG. However when I try to convert the same files using a command line the VOB2MPG window flashes on the screen, showing the DVD title/chapter content, then vanishes without any conversion taking place. No output file is produced. In the cmd (DOS) window the batch command appears to have executed without any obvious errors.

    Single line example from batch file looks like this:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\VOB2MPG PRO\VOB2MPG" /v="G:\DVD Backup\A Knights Tale\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO" /o="F:\MPG Films\A Knights Tale" /MainTitle

    I get a resultant log file in .....\Badger I.T\VOB2MPG PRO\logs\vob2mpg-20101206121645
    which has the following content:

    That's it. No obvious errors. No output file. For it to have got this far I am assuming my syntax is correct and that the program is observing pathing OK. I am now at a loss. Any ideas/help would be appreciated. I have tried various options and have executed the script against 150 DVD files with the same result.

    I believe your syntax is wrong. Should be something like:

    Code:
    VOB2MPGPRO /v="C:\My DVDs\VIDEO_TS.IFO" /o="C:\VOB2MPG Output\The fog.mpg" /MainTitle
    i.e giving a filename for the mpg.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
    VOB2MPG PRO, Extract mpegs from your DVDs - with you in control!

    Chrissyboy. Thank you for fast response. How silly do I feel. Just missing the ".mpg" on the output file. Just goes to show you can look but cannot see. Appologies for being a pillock. Now processing batch file as I write at approx 1 DVD per min.

    Problem solved.
