    Hi,

I'd like to get a xbox 360 but I think it will be a little too pricey when it first comes out.

I'd also like to look into a wireless media player to beam mp3's and divx to a tv. But I'm not in the market for either right now.

  5. Just waiting for those 50" LCD's to drop down to a $1000. Costco is going to have a Sceptre 37" for $1699 soon, but I want something a little bigger. Isn't that just funny, it will be bigger in viewing dimensions than my current 36" Panasonic, but it will take up a lot less room.

I'll be purchasing a new set top DVD Recorder tonight. The DVD player in the basement stutters on some DVD+Rs and I'd like to be able to record downstairs too. Wal-Mart has a panny on sale locally for $139.

  8. My next purchase someday will be a modern Detailer such as the Sign Video DR-1000 and Color Processor such as their PA-100.

I already have a modern DVD Recorder, TBC, S-VHS VCR. ADVC-100 PVR & Sat TV.

My Detailer And Color Proc. Are older models with only composite connections, hence my desire to someday replace them.

Any new video hardware purchases will be at least next year now barring something dying. Smoke from the TV etc.

    Cheers

  9. TBC I guess.

to convert vhs to dvd, I need to get off the fence and buy a better vcr/TBC combo or take my chances on vcr to dvd recorder without TBC and hope for the best. VHS to ATI AIW card isn't very good.

Have you guys seen the wide screen 17" monitor from Westinghouse ? Less than $300. http://www.westinghousedigital.com/products/monitors/prod-17w7.shtml#

If they had a 19", I'd probably consider buying one.

I voted other because you did not have one listed.

My next purchase would have to be something DV 'ish, and will
capture in 4:2:2 format. Right now, I use my ADVC-100 by Canopus,
as my Holy Grail of capture devices, but if Canopus does make a
DV 4:2:2 box (like the ADVC line) I would consider it, because
then this would not suffer the chroma problems of DV.

Its ben a while since I last visited Canopus.. been too busy.
