  1. I used DVDFab to copy a disc. It said that it successfully copied the disc, but it gave it a read error. What does this mean? If burn the copied file, will the burned DVD have any complications when I when I play it?

read errors are usually caused by a dirty or scratched disc or
sometimes the copy protection isn't getting properly removed.
did you use the free version or the paid version of dvdfab ??
and is the disc a new release movie ??

  3. Paid version.

DVD is not a new release.

  5. I have to check. The video files burned to the discs, but I have not watched them in their entirety. I am mainly curious as to if at any point when I watch them, will there be any problems such as the movie freezing, for example?

if you don't have any issues with the movie then it may be a fluke with the software.
