    After converting to mpg2 from avi the mpg2 is 883mb using tmpgenc. How do I make them smaller so they will fit on a cd R/W? And the conversion is just for half the movie.

    You have to split it.

    Generally, I encode seperately with TMPGenc, then use BBmpeg to multiplex and split at the same time.
