    I was going to download it and try it for you until I realized that it was 150mb.

    Does it not have compile instructions?

    usually it's something like this
    ./configure
    make
    sudo make install
    Donadagohvi (Cherokee for "Until we meet again")

    Thanks for replying. No it doesn't really have main readme on how to compile it. Its a bunch of folders with different source programs.

    Are you wanting to use this for viewing videos? Personally I've had the best luck with VLC for just about everything.

    It only includes ffmpeg and mplayer as a decoder/player. Install latest mplayer/ffmpeg from your distro and you'll have the same thing. Nothing special there. No proprietary drivers or deCSS code.

    This appears to be an actual system, or live CD of sorts. The source code includes busy box, grub/lilo, GTK, and 3 kernels among other things. Could be the source code for some type of STB, or splash top.
    Linux _is_ user-friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly.
