I've been trying to rip a DVD using Handbrake, and once I think I've finally gotten it to work, the entire movie looks like it does above or worse. The audio is super skippy as well. The DVD isn't too scratched and works fine in my DVD player.
These are the settings I used when ripping the DVD. The original file is over 4GB in size, and is now an .mp4 file.
Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong? I'm pulling my hair out trying to fix this!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Is this a commercial DVD? What program did you use to get the DVD on your hard drive?

Commercial DVD's have copy protection. You really need to copy the DVD to the hard drive using some thing like anydvd
or DVDfab decrypter. Once that is successful you can use Handbrake to re-encode.
