I ripped one of my DVDs to a disk image. I'm now trying to convert the video_TS folder to an SVCD (ffmpegX) but I get the following warning from ffmpegX:
What gives? How do I covert my DVD to SVCD?To comply with copyright laws, DVD device input is not allowed. Please select a file or a non-encrypted VIDEO_TS folder from your hard disk.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Did you "rip" or did you simply "image" the disc? The latter will result in the error you describe as the encryption would remain.
What app did you use to end up with the image file? -
Thanks. I effed up. I didn't remove the ARccOS encryption. I re-ripped the DVD with MacTheRipper and this time it worked.
