normally i convert my cd flacs to mp3 using foobar's defaults for V0.
it uses the command ' -S --noreplaygain -V 0 - %d '
is there a better way for 24bit vinyl flacs, or am i good to go with that one? what about cvbr256 aac?

Use flac - for lossy compression your question is irrelevant - btw 192kHz sample rate is not supported by mp3 (max 48kHz), aac support up to 96kHz sample rates.

it's 96khz, sorry. how is it irrelevant. i want to convert it for better compatibility

If your player is capable to play 96kHz then aac seem to be only one available option for you.
It is irrelevant as lossy compression mean loosing fine details - practically everything bellow -100dBFS will be removed form signal.
Compatibility is limited by your player capabilities - aac is sufficiently mature audio codec so seem to be reasonable selection.
