I have a documentary in x264 (.mp4) format and I want to hardcode subtitles onto the video rather than muxing them into the file. The subtitles are in an .srt file. The video will be streaming to a PS3.
Most of the tutorials I've found so far seem outdated or deal with DivX/XviD.
Any ideas?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

freemake video converter, xvid4psp, video to video converter, tencoder, avidemux can all read mp4 and also output to mp4 h264 with hardcoded subtitles.

And all are free.
