OK, I know I'm a slow learner, but I just cannot work out how to re-sync subtitles with either of these apps.
I've only selected those programs because, apart from getting good raps, they seem well laid out and look as though they're easy to use.
But I'm durned if I can get the hang of syncing.
Is there a kind and patient person here who could succinctly explain the necessary steps and their sequence?
In either app or some other?
I would be so grateful )
BTW: I'm not a complete computer idiot. I can build and service the things, and even solve most W7 problems, but I seem to have a mental block with syncing subtitles
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Start with the basics. Offset all the times (+ or -) so that the it is in sync at the beginning. Then check the movie at various places
and find out what is happening, could be they're OK, or they will get progressively worse as the movie progress.
If it goes out by a long way (4 or 5 minutes for a movie) It could be the subs were designed for a PAL version of the movie
(speded up by 4% at 25 frames per second, or NTSC version - original speed 23.976 or 24 fps)
