    I'm a baseline newbie and have no understanding of video. For example, I converted a Solidworks Composer AVI format animation to FV4 and I don't even know what to call the frame sequence that shows above the animation as shown below:

    I need to learn how to create high quality technical videos but need to learn the basics and need some suggestions as to resources. So, in this case, what do I search for? I figure that there are sites that discuss the anatomy of a video that would define what that undesired frame sequence is so that I can search for solutions, such as converting the AVI source such that only the animation is shown. If I don't know the proper terms or jargon, then I can't search well.

    So, any suggestions as to a good informational sites?
