ffmpegX file opening problem

I recently downloaded ffmpegX0.0.4 and when I try to open a file I get the following error message;

AppleScript Error

NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError: 3 (1)

I am on a G4 350 and running os10.1.5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
