  1. I have get too play a PAL disc on NTSC CED player, and the speed seems too normal. If i'm right PAL on NTSC must slowdown playspeed? (or speedup?)
25 FPS, thinks they must play another 5 frames from next second?

Not all pal video is speeded up from ntsc so if it sounds ok nothing is needed to be done to it.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

  3. It is notting i mean about the PAL speedup:
CED disks must run 450 rpm for NTSC player, 375 rpm for PAL player.
NTSC = 30 fps, PAL 25. At 450 rpm, NTSC player must play 25 + 5 frames from next second from disk?

No. Unless I am very much mistaken, fed discs and players are platform specific. So you should not be able to play a PAL disc in an NTSC player, nor the opposite. They do not translate or cross convert in the player.
So, if you have both kinds of discs, you will need both kinds of players.

  8. I don't understand much about it either, but I think the device secretly also has pal components, the idea was to release it overseas, can post video and photos as proof.

I don't understand what that youtube video suppose to show, All I see is a disc spinning at an unknown speed. Anyway, Are you sure the disc is PAL? does it say on the cartridge? If it plays at 25+5 as you said the video will be 5 frames faster every second. If it is playing normal (which you should have posted a video of not the disc spinning) it's propably PAL-M from latin america since they use 60 frames a second with PAL chroma which your player couldn't decode hence the B&W video.

  10. CED was never released in Latin America, only in USA and UK (even not in Canada if i'm right)
If you get frame for frame forward (kind of slow motion playing) you can tell the spinnings and count them, with the white label sticked on the disk. It is a bit a hope of pain and gets 10 minutes too do that but it is good possible. after i do that i release me the disk spinning at 375 rpm (count 372, think i missed 3)

    Disk are labeled with PAL/UK

It is was PAL-M disk must also spinning at 450 rpm. (is 30 fps)

Then the only explanation is the player is compatible with both speeds and just lacks the chroma decoder, But no one knows for sure what you are seeing whithout an actual video sample.

  12. I think the color is really stuck but it seems it also PAL color compatible. Sometimes short color is visible on PAL discs.

All what I can say is that the player you are using is definitely a wrong choice for the disc at hand, Get it transferred by someone who owns a PAL player or get a modern format of the content.

Would have taken 5 minutes to rip a DVD or Blu-ray of that title and get immeasurably better quality and be done.

Why are you looking so closely at teenagers?

I choose to have nostalgia of GOOD things in history. CED never was.

Ok Enjoy the crap, then. Just understand that that is what it is, and how others will see it.

  19. The only thing is what i say it is not always nice that you can see every detail in pictures.

wrinkle, warts, freckles, pustules, pimples, advertising texts. Some i prefer softer picture, even find it a bit scary when image is so sharp.

you feel like your TV becomes a window into which you could fall into the movie and then become a part of it.

The way the movie producer intended the movie to be seen is the way we see it in the movie theatre with all its pimples, Blu-Ray happens to be the closest thing to the movie projection. Now you want to watch it through a dirty frosted window glass with blotches of paint on it and you think that's the right way? That maybe nostalgia, but this is definitely what's called crap not the Blu-ray.
