Burning an svcd file on a dvd+r disc

Hi!

I*ve got a problem. I've been trying to burn an svcd file on a dvd+rw disc, but the burning programmes(Nero+Ulead movie factory) complain and say that it can only be burnt on a regular cdr or cdrw.

I thought I heard about someone who actually burnt svcds on dvdr(w) discs or was I wrong?

Please help me out.

Check out the svcd2dvdmpg section on this forum.

The main reason you can't do it the way you want is 2 ways:
1. the format of a svcd isn't the standaard dvd format.
2. the audio format of a svcd isn't a format dvd use.
