I am hoping to find a media player for my laptop that does not have any borders to the playback window.
I would very much like to be able to play video content in a re sizeable window on my desktop, that is just a window of video, no edges, no frame, no nothing,
Hopefully the menu or playback controls would appear if I hover the mouse over the video window.
Does such a player exist for windows 10? .mp4 .avi .mov .mkv
Thank You if you can point me in the right direction
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

mpv --no-border "video.mp4"
default mpv doesn't have menus, only the OSC and keyboard controls.
In mpc-hc/be the shortcut to go back to normal preset is 3.
It's possible to start mpc-hc with minimal preset via startup option but not mpc-be apparently.
With mpc-be 1.5.6.5943 beta: displays the window controls when you hover over the top-right corner with the mouse in non-windowed mode (mode 1 or 2, or fullscreen mode 3).
Playback controls stay hidden in borderless mode (1) though.Last edited by butterw; 11th Jan 2021 at 07:38. Reason: +mpc-be
