MediaInfo Tool: XML Export

I try to export the content of a folder with mediainfo.

choose your desired export format: i can´t chose any possibilitys

chose your desired file name: i have to chose a *.XML filename.

then I try to open the *XML with EXCEL: not possible!


what is wrong with my Mediainfo Export function??

I haven't had any problems opening the XML files generated by MediaInfo in Excel. But they seem to end up on a single, very long line, so not much use to me.
I use the 'text' export instead most times.
