  1. Hello, this is my first post, so if this doesn't belong here I'm deeply sorry.

    My Problem:
I was recording a Livestream with the "open Broadcaster Software" and upon reviewing the footage I realized that the sound didn't play.

The Encoding settings for the audio are mp3 128bit.
The File itself is a mp4 File

    MediaInfo has this to say:

Premiere Pro doesn't recognize the audio, VLC crashes and Audacity can't open the file.
Only the SMPlayer plays both audio and video correctly.

Is there a way to 'save' the recording (extract the sound for further editing)?

Every little bit of help is greatly appreciated
    Best wishes

Try demux/extract the audio with mymp4boxgui or Pazera Free Audio Extractor.
