  1. This would be the component player embedded on your website that plays your flv file...I'm trying to find one that is popular so as to avoid (as many) bugs and issues? Thanks.

  3. thanks...but will my web visitor have to download and install anything, or will the player automatically load and play the flv video, like the old flash component did?

they only have to download an update to their flash player if it's too old.

I got my free version 10 days before they required purchase to remove the new watermark. But like aedipuss said, you can probably find an old version lying around somewhere that doesn't have the watermark if it bothers you.

but will my web visitor have to download and install anything
That's the beauty of it. It simply plays within your webpage as is and will inform the visitor if they have an very old version of flash that needs updating. It plays my x264/mp4's fine so I have no need to purchase anything.

    My player's version is 4.4.162
