Question to the devs: why, on Windows 10, Subtitle Edit becomes so slow when multiple instance are running?
I have a 10 core Intel Core i9-10900X overclocked at 4.7 Ghz, with 128 GB memory, and when only 5 Subtitle Edit Windows are opened (to do 5 OCRs in parallel for example), every one runs 3 times slower, and all other Windows app are affected too.
That did not happen on Windows 7. I could open 24 Windows without any slowdown on a much lesser hardware.
When I switched from W7 to W10 (reluctantly, it's a piece of crap without a lot of third party apps to change it radically), I opened once by habit 24 Windows (a whole series to edit). The system was slowed to a crawl and I had to reboot!
I'm using 3.6.2, but it has always been release independent.

Look in task manager and see if it's subtitle edit slowing it down or something else, also try the newest version of subtitle edit.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
