    Will this work because I don't think a handheld TV has the same resolution as a regular TV. Well any insight on this matter would be helpful.

    It will work just fine.

    Of course, it will not look as good on a handheld TV as it would on a normal one...

    My handheld NTSC television has an active matrix display with the most vibrant colors I've seen. Since the screen is so small, a VCD should look brilliant on it, actually.

    I guess this thing will have to go in the garbage in a few years with the conversion to digital TV is complete in the US, and analog signals will be no more .....
