    Hello,
Does anyone know how to tell what kind of quality of MPEG video files just by looking at the total memory of the file? What is the approximate rule of thumb on this? For instance, for AVI files, about 10MB/minute is a good indication of decent quality file that would look OK when burned to DVD to view on TV.
So how many MB of memory per minute should one look for in an MPEG-2 video file?
    Thanks

About 2 hours/DVD5 looks good which means around 35MB/minute.
