    Are they any Dual Layer DVD+RWs blank media on a market yet?

    And if I have a regular stand-alone DVD+RW video recorder , will it work with Dual Layer DVD+RWs ?

    No. It would require new writers and recorders if they ever release such a format.

    JVC does have their dual layer DVD-RW, but it's not on the market yet. http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/58257
