SRT sub files

I have these SRT sub files that I downloaded. They are in chunks like this: 1-3.srt, 4-6.srt and so on. Each is one episode (1-3 means 3 episodes in one file).
How can I separate the files into individual episodes like 1, 2, and 3?

I would recommend the program Jubler. I just discovered it, and it did a great job editing, splitting and synching my srt files with the avi I made.

The best feature is the ability to preview the output with the srt, while making manual modifications such as the synch time, text location, etc
