Hi all,
I know this is videohelp, but I have a special question to only sound, and maybe the sound cracks here have an answer.
I love classical music. Recently I discovered some old concert recordings (Glenn Gould). One of the best Beethoven-interpretations, but also one with the most audience-coughs I ever heard. And coughing happens quite often, sometimes ruins the greatest parts of a recording. So the natural question: Is there meanwhile anything like a cough-filter? Maybe with A. I.?
Thanks for any hint!

Don't know about free tools, but Izotope RX and the Spectral repair/denoise may work.
Perhaps post a sample -
I have RX in some versions, no problem. Tomorroy I will post something, now try to get some sleep (here it's almost 1 a.m.). Thanks!

An example:

There is coughing every 5-10 seconds the whole concert. -
RX does have "find similar" which will help, put it in spectral view and start there.
Then spectral repair/partials and noise -
Sounds promising, thanks! I used RX a lot, but never with spectral things. That some automation there is possible is new to me, and could be the key!
