    Any recommendations for a good -RW media for my Toshiba DR2 ??

    I have some older Memorex 1x & 2x that work flawlessly on it. However last night I bought a pack of 5 Memorex -RW's and none of the 5 would format on my recorder. However they did format fine on my LG burner.

    DVDInfoPro identified the new Memorex as CMC and the old as Ritek. I guess that explains it.

    I purchased the Memorex 3 pack -RW about 3 weeks ago and it was still Ritek.

    Perhaps the 3 packs are made by Ritek and the 5 packs by CMC ?
