    Hello

I tried joining those two MP4 files with different applications, but none worked because the video streams were encoded differently:

    FILE #1
    Code:
    Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2, from 'FILE.1.mp4':
      Metadata:
        major_brand : isom
        minor_version : 512
        compatible_brands: isomiso2avc1mp41
        creation_time : 1970-01-01T00:00:00.000000Z
        encoder : Lavf52.92.0
      Duration: 00:12:55.38, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 539 kb/s
        Stream #0:0(eng): Video: h264 (High) (avc1 / 0x31637661), yuv420p, 640x480,697 kb/s, 29.97 fps, 29.97 tbr, 2997 tbn, 59.94 tbc (default)

          handler_name : VideoHandler
        Stream #0:1(eng): Audio: aac (LC) (mp4a / 0x6134706D), 44100 Hz, stereo, fltp, 127 kb/s (default)

    FILE #2
    Code:

Is there a way to join them somehow?

    Thank you.

You will need to re-encode them with identical parameters to successfully join them.

    Thank you.

Can ffmpeg/ffprobe tell me what settings to use to reencode?
