  1. Could someone tell me just what happened here?

    LTH discs is the problem ... not all burners like them ... choose in imgburn test mode next time and set speed to 2x to confirm issue remains

    If pass it should be safe to proceed with burn ... if not then your choice is limited

    Burning over usb has many issues ... better to use internal system unit

  3. They aren't LTH discs and test mode isn't going to help here as if it isn't trying to actually write data to the disc, it'll never know if it can or not.

    Your drive reported a 'Write Error', so it didn't like something about the disc.

    Pretty much all you can do is try another one.

    If it fails again, perhaps try enabling the 'Perform OPC Before Write' option on the 'Write' tab within the Settings.

  4. Thanks gentlemen. I was about to flip freaking s#!t with the LTH thing. I went through the process of making sure the exact discs I bought weren't. They are Verbatim discs and this is the first issue I've had.
