  1. hi.
in ASS subtitles, there is a font that I like, the bad thing is the spacing between two lines is a little bit big, I would like to reduce line spacing.
is there a way to do this? a tag or something?

I know, it will not help you. But there is possibility do it in Potplayer. Subtitles, subtitles style, and subtitle font style settings. And here is line spacing.
Otherwise the ass subtitles has not this possibility. Or you can modify your font in some font editor, Font forge possibly has this ability but I never tested it.

the problem with modifying fonts can lead to some problem. Don't know how is it with windows included fonts, but there are for sure fonts, that are copyrighted or similar.

https://www.md-subs.com/line-spacing-in-ssa is a good article on increasing or decreasing line spacing. Might give this a try.
