Will only rip 4 minutes of dvd

Can someome please help. For some odd reason when I try to rip Stigmata with any type of ripper, it only rips the first 4 minutes of the movie. What can be wrong and how can I fix this? I have tried Handbrake, and DVDripper platinum.

Try using dvdfab to copy the disc.

Give a chance to old Dvdshrink.

Dl the free trial of DVD passkey lite
install that and use dvdshrink
change default settings to custom , no compression 100% copy size
copy to FOLDER on hard drive, NOT ISo NOT disc

DVDFab is free. The decrypting portion anyway. Try it from this link:

And by 'ripper' you mean 'decrypter', don't you, and not converter or encoder? Anyway, there's also a chance your DVD has a scratch, even one you might not see, that's preventing the decrypter from working.

Dvdshrink is discontinued. I don't need a decripter. I just need some way to rip this one DVD as I can with all my other DVD's. A small scratch I can't ser could also be a problem? Wow.

Could you try and be a little more clear, then? Are you claiming the DVD decrypts okay but you just can't convert this one to something else? If so, then I'm not sure I believe you.

If you're saying AnyDVD doesn't decrypt just this one single DVD, then I'd be inclined to think it has a scratch or piece of dirt or something similar.

Ok, I am using anydvd hd to decrypt. It is when I try to rip this one movie I only get 4min of the start of the movie. I am wondering what can cause this and what can I do or use to rip the full movie.

Well I do think there is a disk error. As when I tried to rip the movie with VLC media player at the 4min mark it gave an error message. Thanks gor all the help and information everyone.

Well I am amazed. I found a program called Freemake Video Converter and it is getting past the 4 min rip. I am wondering what the problem('s) are with Handbreak, WinX DVD ripper, and VLC as when they all reached 4 minutes of the movie they all crapped out? Well live and learn.
