I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium and have on board and standalone sound (The on board is a sound max 1986a and the standalone is a sound card based on the C media 8738 chip) I'm using Sony Vegas Movie Studio v. 6.0a to capture video and audio through an analogue source. Video captures fine (dedicated video capture card, no audio on there just two yellow composite ports and an s-video port) but I capture audio through my C media sound card through the line in jack (via an RCA adapter) and it captures exactly twice as fast - it happens in every video program I've tried (no matter the source). In the preview on any video program the sound is fine. (really tired of hearing everyone in the video sound like their on fast forward)

Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

P.S. I've tried stereo mix and all the other devices that appear in Vista's sound control panel but still nothing. I'm technically able but this really stumped me.
