    To whom this may interest, here goes my test build of the latest Xvid.

    No bloat, no DirectShow decoder, only the VFW codec && the infamous xvid_encraw.

    MAX_ZONES was set to 8192

    If you're still using XP, right-clicking the .INF file should be sufficient.
    If you're running 64-bit Windows, then run the .CMD file as administrator.

    Unzip, unrar, send the bug reports to Koepi

  2. You may find it handy: vd filtermod 13 can load vfw codec like xvid directly (for encoding only), this is good if you do not want to mess your system by installing anything.

    To do this, put xvidcore.dll and xvidvfw.dll into plugins32 folder and rename xvidvfw.dll to xvidvfw.vdplugin

    AFAIR, Koepi published one among several binary builds (in the past), but cannot be blamed for responsibilities of the developers... so I do not really understand why to direct any bug reports to him.

    But apart from that, thanks for a fresh build. What are the new features, BTW?

    I already knew that

    so I do not really understand why to direct any bug reports to him.
    Because I don't like him

    But apart from that, thanks for a fresh build. What are the new features, BTW?
    Code:
    Changes since 1.3.3:

    * xvidcore
    - Fix for multi-threading bug in case of input video height less than 16 pixels. Patch by Lukasz Marek
    - Enabled multi-threaded builds in MSVC by default
    - Fixed bug in RGB24 to YV12 conversion

    * VFW frontend
    - Minor GUI cosmetics

    * DShow/MFT frontend
    - Use of IMediaBuffer2D interface for faster rendering
    - Fixed bug in thumbnail creation on Windows 10
    - Added missing UYVY colorspace option to MFT decoder
    - Minor GUI changes and new, nicer icons
    - Tray icon fixed in MFT component
    Also: building xvid_encraw.exe is less complicated now
