  1. As far as I remember (I could be wrong) NT/2000/XP ignore BIOS after they were installed, so if you do changes after you have it installed, it might be ignoring the BIOS settings, I'm not 100% sure on this, so don't shoot me if i'm wrong

  2. sefy i think your right... cause i know no matter what IRQ settings i make in the bios... win2k always will put them whereever it wants... like ill boot up with 5 things on IRQ 7... but no conflicts!! hey, if it aint broke, dont fix it... if 5 devices like sharing an IRQ then i will let em.

DiViNeLeFT, you kidding, i've got 90% of my devices using IRQ11, I managed to FORCE the PC to put my Display Card and TV card on diffrent IRQ's only after lots of trying, man Windows sure is a bummer, I turned off the Plug and Play in the BIOS so it will have less control over it, although I really doubt i'm stopping it
