If I extract a DVD image that is a .img using WinRar, and replace a file in the Video folder... do I have to turn it back into a .img before I burn it with Nero. Or can it be burned as a Data DVD and still work as a DVD Video?

    (I'm a noob).

no, select dvd-video in nero and add the video_ts folder from the img.

what file are you going to replace? it may require reauthoring if you change too much.

But I also have an audio folder. (The video will not have sound then right?)

    What do I do?

I have an Audio and a Video folder.

Should I make it back into a .img? If yes, then how to do this easily?

The AUDIO_TS folder is not used for DVD-Video. It can (and will) remain empty.

The issue you're going to run into by replacing a file is that the IFOs and/or BUPs may not reflect the change you've made, which could bugger up the playback.
    If in doubt, Google it.
