I'm looking for a good brand +RW disc for daily backup purpose.
I heard +RW or -RW can be written for up to 1000 times, but I'm trying to keep a RW in my DVD Burner at work that does daily backup automatically.
However, I was looking for "TY" RW, but they don't make it. So, I figure the best place to visit is here.
What is a good brand of RW? That is really reliable in rewrite for the next 2 years? That's approximately 730 times.
PS. -RW is fine too, price is not an issue. Because I'm only going to buy a few.
Thank you for your time in advance.

I bought Verbatim +R (x4) and these seem to be good quality discs. Got them for 88p (in UK) from blankdiscshop.co.uk

I use Memorex DVD +RW's 4X with media code: RICOHJPNW11. I really have been putting them to use, sometimes I will burn 4 or 5 times in 1 day and I know im well over 100 each, which was a 5 pack I got back in Oct or Nov.

Maxell 4x DVD+RW (same as Memorex 4x DVD+RW, RICOHJPNW11) and Dynex 2.4x DVD+RW are also very good with my DVD recorders (Daytek DVR-P30 and Philips DVDR75) and DVD burners (LG GSA 4082B, BenQ 822A).

I have no experience with these but this has to be close to a record for low price.

I baught a 5 pack of memorex DVD+RW last summer, after a year of usuage, maybe 30 or 40 rewrite's, one still works.... And it's starting to get all kinds of spots on the reflective layer so i think it's about to die aswell.

If your burner supports -RAM burning, I'd go with that for backups. -RAM discs will rewrite up to 100,000 times (vs. 1,000 for -RW/+RW) plus most of them have anti-scratch coating. Realistically speaking, no disc is likely to last till the 1,000 rewrite limit (those are max. numbers under perfect conditions).

Don't pelt me, but I've been having good luck with the
Office Depot Branded -RWs in my Magnavox DVD Recorder.
Media Code: RITEKW01"Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."

When I'm not here, Where can I be found?

They are mostly 4x certified.I took a quick look at the websites I order from here in the UK and the DVD+RW's are 4x but they have some 6x DVD-RW's.
Here for example:

I recommended them because they are top quality media that you will have less problems using.~Luke~ -
Horrible experiences with HP. Erased disks don't burn.
