I'm trying to convert files to DXV3 so I can use them in Resolume Avenue. I followed the tutorials provided by Resolume, but when I go to choose the compression, DXV 3 isn't in the list. I went and installed the codec, even though they should have already been installed with Avenue. Still nothing. I have pretty much no idea what to do now, besides maybe trying different converting software.

I'm new to this whole thing and learning everything from scratch so please be patient with me.

The DXV codec is apparently designed for QuickTime, not for VfW. Can MPEG StreamClip use QuickTime codecs at all? ... Ah, it is mentioned in their page. So you may have to select an output format which uses QuickTime, like MOV.

I found the answer to my question here: http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7026#p26631

Mpeg Streamclip was not "seeing" the codec, I had to move it to the right folder.

    Thanks for your input, LigH.de!
