  1. Hi,

I plan to use FLV files in my web application (ASP.NET AJAX).

Now My major concern is encrypting the FLV files to prevent piracy of my valuable content.( only licensed users should be able to view the video files)

As Flash has no built in security measure to encrypt itself. I plan to make an encrypter/decrypter service or something similar.

Having said that i have no clue how to go about achieving that. i am a seasoned VB.NET/C# programmer and am looking for any tutorial/help to guide me with the process.

Given that you seem to be another M$ fanboy
(ASP, VB .NET, C#), why not use Windows Media Video
(better quality than FLV, in my humble opinion, and supports DRM natively).

Cause FLV supports interactive linking and layering which will enable my videos to be a bit interactive.

PS not a fanboy.. i equally work in J2EE but my current projects are all in .NET
