  1. Hi all,
recently bought a Divx Player and finally reconverting my music stuff. I stumbled across this problem and still can't get out of here.
The movie is an ASF file, trying to convert it to an XVID file, but no way.
I'm posting the log of the operation (as you may see I already activated the audio inverse mapping). What can I try now to convert it? I always get an avi file with the proper audio track but with no video track...

    Thanks in advance

  2. Try to set framerate to NTSC instead of 1 fps?

  3. Tried setting to PAL and NTSC 29.97 without luck...

EDIT: Tried now changing from XVID ffmpeg to XVID mencoder and it seems to work. At least the video track is coming through.

    Thanks for your time major

  4. hi major,
I confirm that did the trick.
encoding with xvid mencoder created the video track but not the audio track.
encoding with xvid ffmpeg created the audio track but not the video track.
what am I supposed to do to join the two? it shouldn't be a mplex I suppose...
    cheers
