What software would be good for trimming/editing MP3 audio files without re-encoding or uncompressing and recompressing? Something that can smart render, basically what Womble does for MP2 video except with MP3 audio. Ability to edit MP4 audio would also be a bonus. Need to be compatibe with Windows 7 64 bit.
Thanks in advance.

Beside being another NCH piece of *** payware, that mixpad software is NOT what the OP asked for, as it cannot render mp3's after editing without recompressing.
+1 on mp3directcut.

I've been using mp3directcut occasionally since it's early versions, Don't remember exactly when, 2010 maybe?
