  1. Hello! I'm looking at the header of a H265 file and I can see that the muxingapp/writingapp/encoder all says Lavf55.48.100.

Is it possible to find out which version of ffmpeg this corresponds to?

I downloaded a lot of old versions to try with, but I'm not able to find an exact match, for example:
    https://www.videohelp.com/software/ffmpeg/old-versions

    ffmpeg 2.8.6: libavfilter 5. 40.101 / 5. 40.101
    ffmpeg 3.0.0: libavfilter 6. 31.100 / 6. 31.100
    ffmpeg 3.1.5: libavfilter 6. 47.100 / 6. 47.100
    ffmpeg 3.2.4: libavfilter 6. 65.100 / 6. 65.100

Am I looking at the right dataa or how do I find the version I want?

  2. You have to search for Lavf, not libavfilter

      libpostproc 54. 0.100 / 54. 0.100
I tried running ffmpeg -h, ffmpeg -buildconf and ffmpeg -version but I can't find the version there either.
