Hi, I have some DVDs I'd like to author with some files (don't ask me what).
I downloaded a lot of programs and I found on this forum a guide (https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/277171-HCbatchGUI-user-guide-~-Batch-process-video-and-audio and https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/273620-How-to-encode-an-Avi-to-dvd-ready-video-and...-Aften#1734488) but I'm really having some problems. The problem I found is that with both of my programs I have to load an avi or mpeg2 source. But I have some h264/h265 source. How can I load them? I read online about using some avisynth plugins to do that but I have never used avisynth before so I don't know everything about this world. Is there a guide/someone able to help me? I also thought about converting to xvid/divx (avi) with a really high bitrate (like 30Mbit or more) so I don't lose much details, but this option seem very slow. Is there someone who can help me? Thanks!

Try AvstoDvd, it's supported here in the forum and is recommended often.
Gives you a choice of HCenc of FFmpeg for the encoding

Ok, and using this program I can input a h264 or h265 file and create an AVS script compatible with HCenc? Thanks!
