Nero Recode 2

I need help. I have nero recode 2 with anydvd and I am trying to make a backup copy of a movie. When I go to do it it says failed to read from file. What does that mean? I have tried several different movies and I get the same thing on all of them. Any help would be appreciated.

are you sure you have all the protection boxes ticked in anydvd?
i use the same combination and works fine

I have them all checked. Just cant figure out what I am doing wrong. Would love to get this to work as I hear the quality is great.

Use DVD Shrink 3.1
It's the saame thing as recode without having to worry about AnyDVD for breaking the CSS/Macrvideon/DVD Zone issues.
Works directly with Nero to burn the just ripped and shrunk ( if needed ) files to disk.

I havent been able to get the new version to work yet. I keep getting an error message that says: DVD shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Programming error. What does that mean?
