Hey, I am interested in the EasyCAP DC60+ so that I can record my PS3 to my macbook and my main question is do I need RCA splitters to record and play on my TV. Or could I just use an HDMI cable to put the PS3 on the TV and use the RCA from the easy cap itself to record the TV. Thus eliminating the need for the splitters.

My TV is a Sony Bravia kdl32v4000

    Any help is much appreciated.

If you need anymore info just ask.

Yes but I want to play the PS3 on my TV and record without the use of splitters. So would using the HDMI to connect the PS3 to the TV and then recording the TV with easycap work?
